Let You be the reason for everything I do.
I lit a candle for You.
It was waiting for this moment to burn for You.
I sit here, gazing into Your glory,
Your hand of security,
Your piercing brilliance,
Searching for words that capture You.
The rain is streaming outside the window.
The candle’s melting fast.
I’m tired, but don’t want to go to bed.
I’ll make a seat in the warmth,
To enclose Your soul.
