The main web page of a website, or the main page of a major section on a site, is called a homepage.

The homepage has a special place on a website - it has to give a simple navigation to other main areas of the site and it should make it clear what the site is all about.

On a blog, the homepage usually displays the latest blog posts, along with links to any other main pages.
