Last.fm is a website for listening to music, with a difference. Once registered, the site starts to learn the musical tastes of the user, based on what music the user listens to. You can then upload your own tracks for other users to here.

Collaborating Online
The Web is an ideal space in which to collaborate with others. You might be in touch with other musicians, say, through a forum on a music website. You could keep in touch with other collaborators through Peer-to-Peer systems such as instant messaging or telephony services (such as Skype).
